Try this: Set your tire inflation to the recommended factory inflation. Drive your car until the engine is warmed up, and then get on a flat highway... set the cruise control to around 60 mph or so. Put the SID onto average fuel economy, and hold down clear to reset it... after a few minutes your reading should be around 30 mpg (US) or 36 mpg (Imperial).
