Subject: Re: Timing chain tensioner

Hello, My 1994 9000 2.3l turbo had the same type of noise, I replaced belts, pulley's,tensioner,h-balancer, oil pump, oil pump outer housing, oil pressure relief valve. STILL sane and with allot less dollars. I removed the timing cover and the balance chain was rubbing a hole in the back of the timing cover. every thing was bad and needed replaced. But that is another Saab story. Love My Saabs.
