The fan running is completely normal, especially during the hot summer. I used to have an '83 900 turbo when I lived in Phoenix, AZ and it was ALWAYS near the high end of the temp gauge. Now I have a '96 900SE and its been around 96-100 everyday here in Colorado and the fan will always run for a minute or two. My guesstimation is that the Turbo needs plenty of cooling to lower the chance of siezure in the impellers...So no worries... Cheers, Chris
