The engine and drivetrain are very reliable and 40K is low mileage. If the original owner has all the service records and the car was properly maintained, that's a very good deal. Look around for an independent Saab specialist in your area. Dealers charge too much, but Saabs are just different enough to be tricky for mechanics unfamiliar with their eccentricities.
