The problem was that you were driving on pure > summer tires/tyres in winter conditions. My 9-5 came with Michelin Energy MXV4 tires fitted. They are "performance all season" tires. Granted, they don't have the traction of a true snow tire. For my needs at the time, true snow tires weren't necessary, would have created a storage problem, and would have been a difficult expense. Don't believe me? Try the manufacturer's web site. http://www.michelinman.com/catalog/tires/MichelinEnergyMXV4.html?tiretype =2&tire=5 -- Rob Levandowski roblnopsamhiz.com Owner, MacWhiz Technologies http://www.macwhiz.com Mac and UNIX Consulting * Web Design * Graphic Arts Local help.
