Every posting that I have ever read seemed to point to a far greater reliability of the 4's. I had read many concerns on the 6's and they had been abondoned in favor or turbo'd 4's. I think they use common 4 cyl block now throughout the world (perhaps with the exception of diesels?). I'm sure someone on the ng has better knowledge than I.
