Subject: Saab servicing quality control

I had my 9-5 serviced in the UK by a Saab dealer. They stamped the service log book but left the column marked Quality Check empty. When I queried this they told me that the Saab UK policy is to quality check only 30% of cars. Is this right, it seems odd? TIA
