Subject: Battery question -- 1995 9000CS

On the Info display on the dash, I can get a readout for voltage, mpg, miles left in tank, etc. What does the voltage read? Current going from alternator to battery or voltage coming out of battery? Mine has been reading 13.3-13.7 when I'm driving. But today it dipped down to 12.3-12.5 and it's on 9.5 or even 8.x when I start the car. Been starting fine, but takes a bit longer to start the first time I start it each day. I stopped at Advance Auto Parts and had them check the battery. They said it's holding a charge fine. Is my alternator going? Is it something else I need to be concerned about? Car is due for it's 85,000 mile check in the next few days. Should I have them look at anything particular? Thanks. lauraknopsamousergraphics.com http://www.madmousergraphics.com web design, print design, photography
