I've got the same problem with my 88 9000s heated mirror. It fell off the other day, onto pavement, but luckilly didnt shatter. I reattached it using RTV silicone. I'm gonna reattach it with epoxy, since it seems to wiggle when driving..hopefully the epoxy will transfer the heat.
