Subject: Engine trouble on a 94 900

I hope someone can help me out on this one: I've got a '94 900 turbo which is idling very poorly, lacks power and occasionally is hard to start. This just started today after the rush hour drive home. The number three cylinder didn't seem to be firing, so I popped in a new set of platinum plugs, which reduced the problem but did not eliminate it. I was thinking of a new distributor cap and rotor, but I don't know how to check if the existing one is shot. Here's what has been done recently (to eliminate some guesses): new fuel pump, new head gasket, turbo dump valve. My next guesses would be a pcv valve or fuel injectors. I would really appreciate any guesses which might be more accurate than these. I'm new to this car and it's quirks. Thanks for your help. Jon '97 Z28 '94 900 Turbo Rag Top
