That means that the wheel moves closer to the caliper, but only under brakeing. In order for that to happen, either the caliper has to move relative to the hub carrier, or the wheel has to move relative to the hub carrier. If you're sure the caliper isn't moving, then it must be the wheel. If we assume the wheel is firmly bolted on, then it can only be the wheel bearing. Test the bearing by jacking up, grabbing the wheel, and pushing/pulling. Any play? Rotate the wheel. Any grinding? -- Grunff
