The single carb sucked. It was a great car, but it was very slow. It was an A reg silver/blue 3dr, which looking back was probably the least hassle 900 I ever owned. In fact, apart from oil changes, I can't think of any work I did on it in the two years I owned it! The twin carbs were quite a lot faster. When the setup works well, it's great. But when it doesn't, it's a nightmare. One of the cars I spent - it must have been 4 months - trying to get the carbs working right, but never actually got there. I understand why you want a carbed 900; I sometimes feel that way. But they aren't a great deal of fun, and not really any easier to fix by the side of the road. -- Grunff
