That is inaccurate, and if they told you that you needed to reaplce the computer, then find anohter dealership because they're scamming you. All you have to do is tell the dealership your VIN # and they will have Saab send a key to the dealership. They will fit your door lock and ignition, but all the Saab keys have a radio head, that must be programmed with the computer. So that takes about 5 min to program a key to your car and might cost something to have it done. But no your entire computer does not have to be replaced all that happens is literally the technician hold the key to his computer finds the radio code for it and then tells your car to allow the key to start the car.
