The CD changer for the 9-5 vehicles (without navigation system) are manufactured by Pioneer for Saab. The changer is not connected to the head unit using a dedicated cable as it is done with ordinary third party units. Instead it is connected to one of the network busses in the 9-5 (a CAN bus). The only changer able to do this is the changer sold by Saab. See my home page for more information about the audio units in the 9-5: Manufacturers < http://www.nospam.com/saab/faq_audio.shtml#as_manuf > CD changer < http://www.nospam.com/saab/faq_audio.shtml#cd > -- G–ran Larsson http://www.nospam.com/saab/
