Subject: Saab 900 (96) maintenance

Hi This is my first post I recently bought my first saab 900s (1996) 5dr hatchback in the UK with 82k miles. The car had full Saab service history up to 45k and has since had 2 normal services at non saab garages, I took the car to my local saab garage and asked them to do a full service on it just to make sure everything is okay. They only found a couple of minor things at this 66k service A friend of mine told me to make sure to find out when the camshaft had last been replaced. Could someone shine a light on this, when should you replace the camshaft (after how many miles) and when you have your car serviced would the saab garage pick up on this themselves or would they notify you that this should really be replaced. Are there any other moving parts that should be replaced apart from the obvious (to me) tyres, brake blocks and motor oils. Thanks rog
