The following is based on my experience of 9000s, and looking at (but not working on) 9-5s. It is on the RHS, away from the tranny. On a 9000, the way you access it is by removing the inner wheel arch, which is a big injection moulded plastic panel. This gives you pretty good access to belt and tensioner. Replacement is pretty straighforward - slacken off the tensioner (on the 9k this is a separate pulley, so everything else stays in place), put on new belt, then tension up. Good luck. -- Grunff
