I went to an independent mechanic who was recommended by someone in town from this group. He's good. Does Volvos, Saabs, BMWs and Porsches. Total bill was $1,150. That also included an oil change, checking the alternator (the alternator is fine, the display on the dash is wrong) and general maintenance (lube, top up fluids, check the tire pressure, etc.) He's good about telling me things I need to be looking out for. For the clutch, he replaced the clutch assembly (Clutch kit $306), Slave Cylinder ($180), T/O Bearing ($30), Rear main seal ($21) Total labor was $480 (8 hours at $60 an hour). lauraknospamousergraphics.com http://www.madmousergraphics.com web design, print design, photography
