Meanwhile, can you give me some hints? 2 10mm bolts in the gap between the inner and out wheel arch/fender. Directly below the windscreen, may be covered in underseal/mastic. A decent extension and UJ/Flexijoint should do the job. One 13mm (I think) bolt behind the ashtray (if you have a centre console it also forms a threaded boss that the top part of the console bolts down to. Pull out your ashtray and see if you can see a 10mm bolt. Remove the bolt and you should be able to see a bigger bolt with a thread cut through the middle of it. Remove the centre console or ashtray surround (if you have the full carpetted console that pulls out after the plastic parts are out. Once the 3 bolts (2 outside, 1 inside) are out the lower padding pulls forward and down. BTW you will need to remove the steering wheel too and the plastic surround on the column, but that is pretty self explanitery. > Another thing; today I checked the engine and gearbox oil and while I was > looking around under the hood/bonnet I noticed a single 30 A fuse in the > wiring near the power steering reservoir. Can't help with that Sorry. -- Carl Robson (The poster formerly known as Skodapilot) http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
