Yes, and this V6 'turbo' engine had actually slightly less power than the GM Opel NA engine that it was derived from, but had a lot more torque and thus better to drive. Nevertheless, Saab discontinued the engine although it was trumpeted as an innovative 'first' concept. BTW what happened to the variable compression engine?
