Gotta say, I'm inclined to agree there. I change my oil evey 6-9k miles, depending on usage and whether I feel like it. I use mineral in the non-turbos, and cheap semi-synth in the turbos (usually Total, but whatever the motor factor has in is fine). I've done many, many thousands of miles on high mileage engines, both turbo and na, with no problems. -- Grunff
