My timing chain Broke on the PA. turnpike, no warning about 125000 miles, by the time we were finished with the whole bit the bill was $3600.00. 1992 9000CD. Had to tow it 100 miles to the Saab garage. Timing chain,counterbalance chains and sprockets,guides,valves bent,did the water pump also. Anyway that's my experience with timing chains. Bob
