What does it look like? Had a look on the townsend site. that shows a small loop/drilled disc with wires coming out held down by a single bolt. In my Haynes, it doesn't picture the sensor itself, but it does show a large metal D shaped bracket bolted to the manifold with 2 12/13mm bolts (which if you undo fluid seaps out so I quickly re-tightened it BTW it hasn't leaked any further, is that coolant from the water jacket or fuel left outside the valve?) the bracket has two small bunches of wires bolted down with 10mm bolts through the bracket. Is the bracket itself the knock sensor, or is it one or both of the bunches of wires that bolt to it? You mentioned disconnecting the knock sensor when diagnosing my low boost situation. I noticed that one of the wire bunches was rotated round (closest to the front of the car) so that it was pressed against an injector, so I moved it away. Didn't help with the problem at all, so I'm ready to check with it removed, just need to know what to remove. -- The poster formerly known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
