Alright Chaps? Apologies for not keeping you updated on the progress throughout the winter. F900 is now officialy in Evo 3 Spec. Various revisions have been made to the existing setup, incl the bracing of part of the flat floor with bonded alluminiumn honeycomb, heavily revised aerodynamics featuring winglets mounted in front of the rear wheels to reduce air pressure on the face of the wheels and hopefully a small amount of ground effects from a much altered front airdam/bumper setup. The B202's been rebuilt (again!!:-)) and the heads been refined further to improve flow, its also currently fitted with an experimental, very short, intake manifold to increase power at high revs. The internals have been balanced further to allow for a safe 6750rpm rev limit with the soft cut setup for 6500rpm, giving us a possible Vmax of 175.5mph, if required we can squeze that up to 180mph. Fueling capacity has been upgraded further with a double redundant pump setup consisting of two Bosch 044 pumps (capable of 4 litres a min at 4.5bar pressure each). Theres also more weight reduction going on, the rear seats have gone along with the boot floor and been replaced with some nice Carbon Fibre/Alluminum. Theres also a new Safety Devices cage to go in, mainly as a response to Reylands mishap on this years Gumball. All in all its looking good to really push a good Vmax out and hopefully claim the Front Wheel Drive Vmax Record. It will be at a few UK shows this year (fully stickered up) so pop along and say hello if you spot us. Hope everyones well. Matt Faulks Performance - www.faulksperformance.co.uk
