Subject: Time for Service



I recently bought a 1999 9-3 convertible.  It now has 48K miles and the 
SID says 'Time for Service' when I start the car.  Is there something 
specific this is calling for?  If it's something as simple as an oil 
change which I can do myself, then how do I stop the message from coming 
up all the time?

I don't have a manual for the car and have been browsing here and on 
saabnet for as much information as I can find.
