I read that there are some problems with fuses, is this true? I own a '98 tid saab since 2002 and I am very happy about this car. A well known "problem" (but it is not a real problem) is the noise from the motor. The car was first build for a petrol engine so it is not well acoustic isolated for a diesel, but i don't really care about it. The only problem i had, and i had it 3 weeks ago, was about the climate control. I found the solution on the SaabNet forum and there i discovered that every saab with automatic climate control can have this problem or a similar one. With automatic clima the car has got a small black box for heater fan speed control. Sometimes this box have a failure and makes the fan run crazy or always on with key turned off too. In my caseit ran crazy but it was only oxidation inside the box. After cleaning it runs well again. The car has got good performance with cheap fuel usage. My saab dealer said to me that the firts 115 hp motor have no problems and make a lot of km but the 125 hp had some more problems. I found this interesting article about the tid saab. http://www.nospam.com/features/gm900_93/owner_reviews/saab_93tdi.php Hope this was useful and sorry for my english. Regards Marco from Italy
