As I said, interesting. Sorry for the mis-direction. I am looking a US EPC. The 1995> part number looks like the stepper motor I am referring to. It must also have the electronics in it as well so that it is mostly a stand alone system. This EPC does not show a vacuum pump on the 95>. I just assumed that it was connected to the Trionic. If yours is the earlier style <94 and it is intermittent and the ECU is a Hella ECU (mounted separate from the actuator), all I can suggest short of oscilloscopes and frequency generators is to try a replacement used unit and see if it is better... The defective units on the C900s (92-93) are Hella as well. They seemed to have poor solder or cold soldered joints. I was able to resurrect 2 of them by removing the red muck from the board and removing the solder and resoldering all the components. Tedious work.
