You'd need a pinout of the Saab CD changer interface to know if you could run it in that way, personally though I'd just replace the head unit with a decent MP3 player and be done with it, though finding a tasteful looking head unit is a real chore these days. To me they mostly look like they were designed by a 10 year old high on crack.
