Were you talking about a 3-year-old car? How can you tell if you get value for the money spent on repairs? May be you have a different type of warranty but mine (from Carmax) has covered about 30% of repairs so far. They have a list of exceptions that's about a mile long, $75 deductible and their own rates they pay for parts and labor that are sometimes considerably lower than the dealer's. The main question for me is whether this car is worth keeping and whether I can afford to wait much longer to find out.
