hmm... should of though of this before .... but by peeping through the ski flap I can see into the boot area with the boot shut... seem with the switch at the bottom ... what I though was permanent "on" is really "on" only when the lid is open... so there must be a contact elsewhere... not sure what purpose the mid switch position serves, if any? I guess to be safe I could always switch it off and only switch on manually... but as my hands are usually full, having it on auto on/off is the most convenient?
