You don't know if the car has anything ever done to it. Good advice. In fact I did exactly that myself when I got my 9000. I concluded the air filter was OK though. I noticed that the wrong plugs ( not NGK ) had been previously fitted whilst doing this. Might be wise to have a 'shop' ( if you're not confident ) check things like brake pads too. You don't want scored rotors / discs in a couple of thousand miles. Graham
