The resting position of the needle when > the engine is off is 0 psi, below that point is vacuum, above it is boost. __________________________ Once in my old 9k the gauge was not moving properly - Thought that the gauge is stuck and didn't bother to do anything as there was still the "kick"... However the time to replace the instrument bulbs came and I was checking the turbo gauge as well - It moved proprely with the air/pressure feed from a bicycle pump. Then I realised the there was a very sharp bend on the feeder tube,,, on the hassle / connectors above the break pedals (with the y-connectors etc.). Once I cut the bend away (the tube was already de-formed flat) the gauge started to work ok... Just as my 2 cents,,, always the problem is not a big one ;-) SuoTimo
