The problem for me is that once upon a time, you could drive a Saab and you'd know it was a Saab. Take the C900 (the car I'm most familiar with). Compare it to *any* of its contemporaries, and you find it was miles ahead in so many ways. Now take a 9^3, or even a 9^5. Compare it with other cars in the class. Are they different?
