Hi my '90 classic 900i seems to have a problem with the clutch, when I've been driving for a while theres no resistance in the pedal and it can be very hard to get in gear. If I lightly pump the pedal resistance builds back up and it seems to be ok, though it still grinds going into reverse even with foot pressed hard to the floor (though this doesnt happen all the time). I've checked the brake/clutch fluid and it seems fine - the two compartments side by side are ok. Someone suggested bleeding the clutch system, otherwise I've also seen the problem that can occur in the clutch pedal arm (enlarged pin hole). Any suggestions as to what I should try first and how to go about it would be much appreciated. Regards, Gwilym.
