Subject: Removing Orange Reflectors- 9000CSE

Hi there. I've got a '94 9000CSET and recently I ordered replacement clear/smoked little side blinker lights for the fenders from Elkparts, which look cool and all but really clash with the orange in the front blinker lights (the ones next to the headlights). Now I've read on the 900/9-3 forum on Saabnet that you can simply break the reflector free from the housing and work it out through the bulb socket. Has anyone tried this on the 9000's lights? did it work? any tips? I think the car would look much better with clear lenses up front seeing how the rear lenses (and now my fender lenses) are smoked. Thanks, -Chris '94 9000CSET '99 9-3SE '94 900SE V6 *RIP* '87 9000S *RIP*
