Heh. The language certainly gets mangled (differently) depending on
where it's spoken, that's for sure.

No, the different usage of "bailiff". An interesting word, that. So
you have the bailiff, and the sheriff. Looking for the origins of those
two words which appear to be of common construction. (digs further) Ah,
I see that you have a different concept of "Sheriff" too. I guess that
makes sense.
