Well- I do agree My Saab '94-aero-9000' does like new when it drives. I do love it! However, here are some facts! I have an 1996 infinity G20 (130K) with practically not more than 600 spent on breakdowns. I have an 1992 GM_Oldsmobile-Silhouette with 190K - I might have spent not more than a 1000 on breakdowns. This fucking Saab has swallowed as much as 6000 dollars. I owned it since 66K. It has 140K now. Practically everything (except the engine) is replaced. There aint no doubt- Saab's quality control sucks! If not for the low reliability- Saabs would be the best cars on the market in terms of performance/ luxury vs. pricing. It is the pitiful unpredictability of the parts that are used in the vehicle that have hampered Saab's reach of a wider market. It is the laziness and stupidity of the Saab management.
