From what Ive seen on here so far it has to do with the connecting strip on the back of the guage panel/board. There is a fix for it posted by someone on this News group..Ill see if I can find it (think I may have saved it). I havnt gotten around to trying it yet, but have been putting up with that "little" annoyence for a year and 1/2. 168K and I still love the car.
