Hi all, I'm considering putting a hands-free mobile phone kit into my 1998 Saab 9-3. However despite lots of googling I couldn't find out whether the output of the car kit gets amplified if the audio system is switched off at the time of the call. Can someone tell me whether it's necessary to have the radio always switched on to receive incoming calls, or does it power-on automatically when the car kit gives out the mute signal?
