Hello Richard, The original pump uses non-standard connectors, 5/16 (.312) inch/8 mm spades, that are exceptionally unusual in the US. The next availible size is a 3/8 (.375) inch/9.5 mm spade and is too big. The connectors on the new pump are "bullet" connectors, but in an unusual size of 5/32 (.156) inches/4 mm, the standard US size is .197 inch/5 mm. My local Saab dealer (At 50 years, the oldest in the US) cannot get the proper connectors as they were discontinued and the local electronics shop, one of the largest in the north eastern US, has never even seen those dimension plugs.
