The increase in power/torque is impressive (from 176hp/350Nm > to 220hp/420 Nm). Curiously, the top speed increases as little as 8 km/h. Almost certainly because top speed is limited by gearing more than anything else. > Are there any people on this group who've has their Saabs (especially > diesels) chip tuned and if so, what are your impressions/comments (in > particular on the effects it had on fuel consumption, steering, brakes)? > Tks&rgds Fuel consumption? Little difference if any when driven normally. Driven hard there is a difference. Driven with a heavy load it's marginally better on diesel. Steering and brakes? The chip didn't touch the steering or braking components... :) That's at the discretion of the driver. -- The DervMan www.dervman.com
