Subject: 2001 Saab 93 Auto, Idling problem and jerky on decleration

I posted earlier about how my 2001 Saab 93 automatic felt like it was going to stall when I was idle at a red light/stop sign. The other day when I was driving home the check engine light came on and the car seems to be struggling, when I am idling at a stop the tachometer seems to drop and the car almost catches itself and then the tachometer shoots back up. The car is also very jerky when I am decelerating. I am taking the car in to my local mechanic in a few days and don't plan to drive anywhere except to work. What do you think the problem is? How much do you think it will cost to fix this? If you need more details, holla!
