A couple of times it's engaged the immobilizer and so won't start either. I ended up leaving in unlocked with the key in the ignition but off -- the manual said the alarm won't arm until the key is removed. I'm reluctant to drop the money on the glass sensor only to find out that it's the alarm computer. The only other symptom that I can think of is that it's told my wife "key not accepted" a couple of times. I guess there is an electronic component to the key? -K
