I'd check out the new S80 with the 3.2l inline six. In the same ballpark for price as the S60R. Less sporting for sure, but it looks like a nice blend of refinement, luxury, and performance. Of course you'll have to forgo the manual tranny, but the newest automatics are so good, it's getting harder and harder to justify a manual.
