Subject: Oil Cooler Hose seems to be leaking- 1994 900SE Turbo

I'm seeing massive leaks from my 1994 900SE turbo. The leakage is from the lower front right hand side of the car (between the serpentine belt and the front bumper). I was told this might be from the oil cooling hoses as they are completely rusted and the surrounding area is soaking wet. The car had been leaking for a while, and as such I thought to switch to synthetic 10W40 for my last oil change- seems like I made a mistake as the oil leak got worse. Not too concerning however, as the leak is so bad, that I'm sure all the synthetic oil has since drained out. Any advice on how to change these hoses or check for common o-ring foul-ups in the area? Would it be best to give it to the Dealer, or is this something that can be done in a driveway with a couple of hours of time?
