Alert me when someone posts in this thread:

The 9-2X is a unique blend of a great Fuji built Japanese chassis smoothed over with a Swedish inspired reskin. It's brothers under the skin are World Rally Champions and universally considered rugged, durable cars. None of this has been lost in the transition to a Saab. Many of the Saab touches were embraced by Fuji, except the styling thing. Subaru styling has taken an interesting turn and some think the Saab looks better than ever by comparison.

The Linears or 2.5i's are robust 165hp cars, almost as much as a Saab turbo. The turbo cars are just flat awesome. The 2.0 turbos are high strung and very energetic. The new 2.5 liter turbos are monsterous where the 2.0 liter was a little flat.

The hard gearer all wheel drive chassis, brakes, shifter, and handling with the boxer hum and the pancake arrangement are solid and confidence inspiring and the car has earned top marks from picky drivers of much more expensive machines.

Reliability seems to be a strong point despite the performance potential.

I bet a 2006 9-2X Aero might be quickest 0-60 Saab of all time.
