Had my first real issue with the car today, though I suspect it is two issues (2005 9-2x Aero manual, <45,000 miles). Was driving home in a hurry and wanted the extra power so I was around 4000-5000 rpm (maybe higher). After a bit, I heard a slappy/hissy sound on acceleration, sort of like the air being let out of a balloon, but more mechanical. It would show disappear when not accelerating, and would show up again around 2500 rpm when starting from a stand still. I parked the car at home, then went out again for dinner w/o issue. After dinner when trying to drive home, I was at an uphill at a red light, and on trying to start, the car wouldn't go. It wouldn't turn over (just one vrr) and the lights on the dash would dim. Windows and radio worked fine, but the trip counter reset to zero. It is now sitting at my local mechanic who isn't open on weekends.
