Unless you go to uberboost/bigger turbo, an uprated top-mount IC is a pretty workable and less intrusive option. See the above link for an example (an JDM STi top-mount). There are tons of options available, though, once you factor in the FMICs, but flow rates are something you'll probably need to contact the manufacturers about.
