This Tuesday We drove home in our new 93 2.0T manual trans., cold weather pkg. fusion blue/parchment int. SS. A beautiful and enjoyable car overall! We traded in '02 93SE with 56k miles.

The new 93 seems to be more spacious inside, when compared to 93SE (perhaps in part due to the bright parchment interior). Legroom is about the same. 6 speed manual trasmission shifting is much smoother and precise, wouldn't even imagine any better, I think. Engine and car seem quieter, maybe due to the new door and window seals and sound proofing. Haven't tried the full throttle at breakin.

After several days of driving I already miss a rear window wiper.

Clutch is less sensitive, and the cluch pedal feels to rest noticeably higher. Meaning that the left leg is forced into Z at much sharper angles. Anybody noticed this, or is it just me? Is this adjustable maybe? Brake and accelerator pedals are OK.

Lights', wiper stalks are much more precise and softer (less clunkier as compared to 93SE).

The dashboard wass rearranged of course, but things like outside temperature and some trip computer data may have been left on the central console as they are of interest not to the driver only. BTW, can the trip computer LED brightness be adjusted? -- it doesn't seem to follow the adjustment for the rest of the dasboard lighting.

Dashboard redesign involves a lot of aluminum inserts. being a matter of taste this is of course rather subjective. I personally would pay extra to have them replaced with something less shiny/contrasting. The aluminum strip which lines the dashboard perimeter, gives a strong reflection on the inside of windscreen. I only noticed this today, when not using using polarizing glasses...

What were your impressions with 93 SS or SC?
