If he's talking about installing the upgrade in a '06 or newer V6 Aero then the car is definitely under warranty. People do this you know... load the factory software if the car is going into the shop and then install the BSR software again when back home. These kits are in much more widespread use in Europe- especially to 'punch up' the hp/torque numbers on the smaller gas and diesel engines offered over there. In Sweden there is even an add-on drivetrain warranty you can purchase from BSR for the ultimate in peace of mind. I wouldn't ever count on that arriving in the states however... If Saab USA ever offered an upgrade like the BSR PPC they would also charge $2,999.99 for it. ;^)
