I have a 2007 9-3 that seems to be making the same front end noises that others have discussed previously on this site. I'll explain my situation and frustration, - After starting the car and slowly moving forward or backwards at slow speeds and turning the wheel - out of a parking spot, garage, etc. the car makes a 'clanking' or 'clunk' noise that i can usually feel in the pedals, and steering wheel. I think the noise has happened more in the cold than warm weather, sometimes louder, other times softer - now it just happens all the time as it is very predictable. I have had the car at the dealership 4 times - each time they have told me they can't fix it and they do not know what the problem is. They have tightened things, lubed things, etc. and nothing. The 5th time I brought it in a new service guy told me that it's the abs, resetting itself, it is some spring and the noise is perfectly normal. He said all saabs do this - if this is perfectly normal - why 5 trips to the dealership to tell me this? - and not a mechanic? I could almost believe it and give them the benefit of the doubt if it was absolutly a consistent noise and feel, however it is not. do other saab owners here this noise? I notice this noise and feel it everytime I start the car, it is very noticable and it is driving me nuts - this is a new car, can it be normal??? I really don't beleive new cars make noises like this, and I feel something is wrong. I've been in plenty of other cars and no strange 'clunking' noises. I'm not sure if this is normal? some strange gm thing? or a bigger problem the dealer wants to ignore - as the car is still under warrenty.

If anyone has similar problems, or may know what the cause of this noise is I would greatly appreciate the discussion. I'm not sure what options I have left.

Thanks
